In 2007 the founding couple Géraldine Suher Al-Nemri and Jonas Navid Al-Nemri not only started their happy family but also their first own business. During an university project kladdebuchverlag was founded for testing innovations under real conditions. So, while studying philology, theology and history, they could build up their commercial practice and their network in the publishing industry.
